Crochet: Scarlet Shell Stitch Scarf

I made this Shell stitch scarf for my daughter. She is in Kindergarten and has won this scarf. She received the Principals Scholar and this is her reward from my behalf.

In this picture you will see that the scarf has not yet developed a border.

This is a view of the top of the scarf and an idea of what the  border is going to look like.
